Story Walk

Where: Lakeshore Park
Time: 10:00-11:00 am

StoryWalk is a FREE event that transforms the pages of a children’s storybook into signs placed sequentially along the walking trail at Lake Shore Park. The Oak Lawn Park District joins the Oak Lawn Library to walk along the path and read the story. Afterwards, we make a craft project related to the story! The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and Kellogg Hubbard Library. In case of inclement weather, StoryWalk will take place at the Dream Center!
